Draft for review
Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2, 2026. These draft terms describe the intended operating rules. They require legal review and completion of the responsible business identity, dispute process, fees, and governing-law language.
Directory role
Cebu Verified Stays is a directory and request-coordination service. Unless a separate written booking agreement says otherwise, the accommodation contract is between the guest and the property owner. A listing or inquiry is not a confirmed reservation.
Verification badge
The Cebu OK Travel verified badge is a partner trust signal based on the current review process. It is not a government certification, guarantee of availability, guarantee of safety, insurance policy, or promise that a property is risk-free.
Guest responsibilities
- Provide accurate dates, guest count, and contact details.
- Confirm the exact property, total price, rules, cancellation terms, and payment recipient before paying.
- Do not send passwords, one-time codes, or unnecessary government documents.
- Report suspicious requests, impersonation, or inaccurate listings promptly.
Owner responsibilities
- Submit only properties the owner is authorized to offer.
- Keep prices, photos, amenities, rules, availability, and contact details accurate.
- Respond to referred inquiries and report completed, cancelled, or disputed bookings accurately.
- Honor the written commission agreement and protect guest information received through the service.
Fees and commissions
Any referral fee, commission rate, tax treatment, payment timing, cancellation adjustment, or dispute rule must be agreed in writing with the owner before a listing is published. The public site should not promise an amount until that agreement exists.
Suspension and removal
We may pause or remove a listing for suspected fraud, unsafe conditions, inaccurate information, repeated non-response, policy violations, expired verification, or a security incident. A review or badge does not prevent later suspension.
Payments and liability
The initial release does not hold guest funds and should not be described as escrow or payment protection. Payment processing, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, taxes, insurance, and liability limits require a separate reviewed agreement and operating process.
